OVERVIEW
The Xbox One's July 2014 system update now supports future digital bundles and compilation discs. This, in addition to Gold Subscription, was one of Microsoft's first foray's into the cloud-distribution and storage model.
PROBLEM
Microsoft wanted to have a way for publishers to extended revenue stream for bundling titles, allowing for consumers to have more flexible combinations of game titles and content.
APPROACH
I was tasked to come up with several use cases and design workflows on how an Xbox One user would come into and navigate the new offerings. Some use cases included entry into system, installing and managing their bundles.
RESULTS
While this feature has been implemented in the July 2014 Xbox One update, there are no published or announced uses of this feature. Click the link below to see a video of the public announcement.
