OVERVIEW
Planar needed a unique application to announce their new UltraRes Multi-Touch monitor at InfoComm 2013. The monitor features a 4k resolution in a 84" format with up to 6 simultaneously active touch points per screen.
APPROACH
Working closely with the graphics developer, we updated the Pathfinder Kinect Experience gesture interaction model to a simple, multi-touch solution. New UI components were designed to tie into their marketing campaign.
RESULTS
The smooth 3D/4K content, along with the ability to freely control the viewpoint, helped to market to a variety of unexplored industries. The new Planar UltraRes 4k Series went onto become the recipient of the 2013 EXC!TE Award by Technology Intergrator.
